Simala Church

When I first saw this picture I was so fascinated....  And Immediately checked which part of Europe this Church is located. To my surprise.... it's from Cebu, Philippines. I even show the picture to group of friends and ask them to guess from which country.... More than three guesses already and no one manage to get the correct answer... 

I hope I can visit this Church soon....

Singapore's Chinatown is an ethnic neighbourhood featuring distinctly Chinese cultural elements and a historically concentrated ethnic Chinese population. Chinatown is located within the larger district of Outram

The name Chinatown was used by the British while the locals went by these names: In Chinese, Singapore's Chinatown is known as Niu che shui (Chinese: 牛车水;pinyin: Niú chē shuǐ; literally: "bull-cart water") as a result of the fact that, because of its location, Chinatown's water supply was principally transported by animal-driven carts in the 19th century. The name is also echoed in the Malay name, Kreta Ayer, with the same meaning.

   

Little Guilin

Little Guilin (Chinese: 小桂林) is a park in Bukit Gombak, Singapore. It is a popular visitor attractiondue to its similarity to the scenery of Guilin, China.

Also known as Xiao Guilin among the locals, the Little Guilin looks similar to that of Guilin inChina – a granite rock sitting within a lake. It was originally a disused granite quarry. In fact, the name "Bukit Batok" has been suggested to be derived from the noise made by the blasting in the granite quarry that now form the natural surroundings of Little Guilin.
